I am a medical doctor having passion for computers and technology feeling best suitable for career in HI. I have been planning to move to Australia on student visa with my wife who is a Nurse. I am planning my post-grad (pref. from university of sydney) but due to financial constraints would not be able to undertake Masters program right now. Can anybody pls suggest if there are any post-grad diploma /courses (1-2 yr) related to this field which can help me find good job after completion and also acceptable for my masters after getting PR in Australia.

Hi,
I am planning to take MSc. in Health informatics (Distance Learning) from University of Sheffield UK.

I am not sure if the above program is accredited/ accepted by Authorities / employers from other parts of the world especially US, Canada and Australia.

Since I have a plan moving to Australia after my masters, can anybody please advise me if a degree from Sheffield is accepted by authorities / employers in Australia.

Would I be able to get a good start in Australia ?
and is it worth taking Distance learning program in this field.

Your advise will help me alot choosing right track for me and is highly appreciated.
