Apologies for this belated comment,,,, This is essentially due to overlooked site (this site) among many other sites... If you like hopital ambience you may target your ambition to Hospital Administration, focussing particularly on advanced Theatre Technologies... Areas could be, Advanced HI-Tech Equipments like Super Scanners ...Perfusion Technology, Network Medicine...etc., It all depends on the interest you have... Being a Engineering Grad., Hospital Maintenance (Engineering aspects-including the vast computer networks)
I hope this little info is not too late to be of any use to you....
ALL THE BEST ANY WAY!

i am glad ..to know that u r doing this course from such an esteemed organization..the scope is much broader, however due to recession and companies lazy attitude towards recruitment bringing down the popularity any of the course, bt let me come to the point, the question u actually asked from me, ya u can get the opportunity in healthcare industry in hospital marketing, executive for information systems in hospitals bt because u are doing a course from a college which is more sound for its courses in information technology u should focus for a position in a gud IT company of healthcare processes.hewiit is one of them but for that start working on to improve ur IT skils learn some language like .net, java .compleating it wld b an added advantage for u ..i dont know the course structure u have there ..but ya u ur self hav to crack the code ..and aalways keep ur eyes on NGO's this is an area where u can easily be absorbed..bye tc..wish u all the best for ur future

The options in this field begin at the level of the delivery system of the medical education to delivery of the entire spectrum of the healthcare services. The Information Technology has been a neglected field as far as the Healthcare is concerned. The rising awareness now is bound to grow in geometric progression. The time for the revolutionary change in the healthcare delivery systems has now arrived.
I have been working on the development of a system with my colleague Dr. Vasundhara Atre and a team of Software developers. Based on the Medical History, recording of the vital parameters and the enquiry with the individual a risk profile of the person is generated. This becomes the basis for the lifestyle management and the primary prevention of disease.
