Nice to know that you are doing this course. As you already must be knowing that use of IT is rapidly increasing in Healthcare Industry, so this course can help you a lot in getting a good job.
I would suggest you to go for a Masters level sooner or later in the coming years.
I have been working on the development of a system with my colleague Dr. Vasundhara Atre and a team of Software developers. Based on the Medical History, recording of the vital parameters and the enquiry with the individual a risk profile of the person is generated. This becomes the basis for the lifestyle management and the primary prevention of disease.
As a Medical informatics student........I can suggest u to understand the complete workflow, possible problem in hospital standards of hospital scenario..........later u can concentrate on single problme to solve dat.......
It is important for me to know what you aspire to be.
If you have not set your goals yet please do it now.
