i am pursuing post graduate diploma in health informatics from CDAC PUNE,
could u please take a moment from ur busy schedule an tell me hw to move forward after doin this diploma and what a fresher must do to scale to new heigts.
we are learning database oracle, .net,java and HIS softwares.what really a healthcre info proff requires,pls guide,

Presently I am trying to convert(typing) codes from book to excel sheet....., If u hav similar programing modules for medical data collection plz let me kno......

how are you sir, I need your guidance in making International Classification of Disease (ICD database) for medical data collection in Hospital setup. I plan to do ICD Database using open source (PHP & SQL) to collect mortality & morbidity data from discharge summary as my project for completing Masters in medical informatics.

Hi Dr Vikar, I am an optometrist based in Nigeria and totally new to the field of health informatics. I have done some research on it and I'm convinced that this is the career path I would like to embark on. I've decided to study health Informatics at City university. What has been your experience on the programme? I guess you are rounding up now. In retrospect, what kind of preparation is necessary before beginning the program in order to be up to speed with lectures and assignments? How involved is the school's staff in helping to secure internship placement? I would really like to gain hands on experience before graduating. I look forward to your response.
