I am new to this sector...I am now going to do a masters project in Health Informatics as part of my M.Sc Health Informatics. Can you please suggest me if the topic that I have planned to choose is an acceptable one.
The topic is Critically analyse the merits and de-merits of Health informatics in health care especially in Intensive care nursing.
If not can u please suggest me some as I have broadly no idea about the subject yet (to be frank!!).
Many Thanks

Thanks a lot for this excellent HI discussion forum.
I am a Health Informatics graduate (With medical background) from University of Wollongong. I have been looking for HI related jobs in Ballarat as well as the nearby suburbs in Vic, but in vain. Could you please be kind enough to let me know the best way to search for HI careers in Vic. I am very much interested in HI. Be it research side or a job for a fresher with no practical absolute in HI field. Also for a fresher like me, what would be ur advice before starting a career? I mean what are the areas in HI, should I educate myself before entering a job? Like SNOMED CT etc.. Thanks a lot.
I'm a physician from Indonesia and also a newbie in this field.
I'm planning to take a master course in Health Informatics next year.
Could you please share some information about books that I should read and study before I took the course? Personally, I interested in EMR.
Thank you.
Best regards,
Joep Djojodibroto
I am new to health informatics and hope to become a student soon...just as soon as I figure out which online university to attend.
