I agree with you that all healthcare areas need support from health informatics. In my hospital they can tell the defrence before and after the implemntation.
Nice to see that you have got Pharmacy Informatics set up at your place and doing the same.
Many healthcare areas need lot of support for Health Informatics where by the delivery of patient services can be eased and supported through Systems.
As I have been involved into Medical informatics over the last 12 years I wish to see that every health care unit across the globe should have easy serivce to patient community and it should also help the healthcare organizations to get the proper MIS reports which could further improve the healthcare services.
I am presently heading IT and Telemedicine in KLES Hosptials in Belgaum in Karnataka,India having 1830 bedded hospital.
Have you ever got the information on Telemedicine. I have been involved into this right from the inception of this concept in India.
